Last autumn, spent a day painting in a field, in Cambridge VT.
Fog hung for several hours, cleared, and some mowing was done.
Moved the easel a few feet.
The sun appeared briefly, enough time to capture the effects.
The greatest challenge is to get enough information down in changing light. This painting began outdoors, and was finished in my studio.
